The wounds from the last misfortune are still open for many Malaysians. Yet this devastating news arrived, greeting the world in somber. No words could describe the sorrow that surrounds the photographs of the aftermath. The victims’ stories were heartbreaking. Some made a living onboard. Some came down for a summer break. Some returned home for Eid. And some traveled half the world to cure AIDS. They lived as anybody, everybody when it happened.
This weekend, I am sending my prayers to those who perished and their surviving families in the recent tragedy. May the strength for those who lost their beloved prevail in helping them getting through this darkness. Let there be light at the end of this tunnel.
